Ebonie Davis is an experienced attorney with a range of talents, primarily counseling clients on real estate related matters. Ebonie is adept at reviewing and negotiating leases, real estate agreements, and loan documents. She has in-depth experience handling transactions involving a variety of financing methods, including low-income housing tax credit financing, HOME and CDBG funds, and other local and state funding.

 

Ebonie also represents clients in M&A transactions and has extensive experience advising clients through all phases of selling and acquiring businesses, including analyzing contractual and operational due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and ensuring corporate governance compliance. She further advises clients throughout the acquisition process, bringing harmony to lease and real estate matters as well as coordinating and negotiating financing.

 

Additionally, Ebonie spent close to six years working in the Office of General Counsel for the United States Department of Agriculture, where she advised federal agencies (primarily Rural Development) on matters related to the preservation of affordable housing, the development of essential community facilities, and the improvement of community infrastructure in communities across rural America.
